As you know the world is freaking out right now. Restraints, events, small businesses, churches, even whole cities are shutting down. Over 5 thousand deaths have occurred all over the world and many people are panicking. You might be asking ‘How are we ever going to get out of this?’ well I’m here to tell you that it is going to get better. This is all going to go away as time goes on and we will remember it as we remember the plague or even the great depression. Ok I get that saying that it will go away is not really helpful, so I am going to give you a few tips on how to get through this.
- Wash your hands
I don’t think we can stress this enough. Germs get on your hands VERY easily and you touch everything using your hands. Once the germs get on your hands, they will move to phones, laptops, books, door knobs, ect. COVID-19 reacts very well to soap so just take a couple minutes out of your day to wash your hands. It’s not that hard people.
- Stock up on food
Chances are you are not going to be going to the store for a while depending on where you are. So just plan meals for the next few weeks and buy all the things you will need for those meals. If you need to freeze some extra meals or just get a lot of canned goods.
- Clean your house
You are stuck at home anyway why not get rid of some clutter, try on clothes see which ones fit and which ones don’t… get rid of the extras. Also besides re-organizing make sure you are cleaning light switches and door knobs daily. Cupboard handles, fridge handles, your phone or laptop, anything that you touch a lot make sure you are cleaning them with disinfectant spray daily.
- Read books
I know you have at least one book in your house. Open it up and read it. If you are bored, find a book and read it. Trust me, it’s fun! I have been lately reading through The Left Behind series and it’s really good!
- Don’t panic
The bible says over and over to not be afraid.
Isaiah 41:10 , Genesis 15:1, Deuteronomy 3:22
Panicking is NOT going to do any good especially in a situation like this. So take a deep breath, wash your hands and get on with life at home.
The Lord is still on the thrown and we are going to be okay. Trust him. I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did leave a like and comment! Thank you so much!
