Hello and Merry Christmas! Today I get to do a post! I hope you enjoy!
Tell me a little bit about your self, hobbies, family, background, ect.
I am a 13 year old home schooling, horseback riding, Christian girl. My parents met in California and moved to Georgia three years after they got married. Between the year 2000 and 2005 they had four children Theo, Courtney, Kirk and I. In 2009 we moved to Tupelo Mississippi because my dad got a job offer to work for American Family Radio. Then in 2016 we moved here to Waynesville North Carolina so that my dad could pastor Calvary Chapel Waynesville.
I enjoy being with friends and family, I have a pet rabbit named Snickers, I love horseback riding and being in the word of God.
What is your favorite part about Christmas?/ How does it bring home the meaning of Christmas to you?
I love Christmas because I get to hang out with family, and give gifts! I love it also because the meaning of Christmas is celebrating the birth of my savior! And, I LOVE Christmas lights! This year, I put Christmas lights on my bed and it makes a wonderful glow as I fall asleep!
What are some of your family traditions?
Well, my favorite tradition for our family is getting to put up ornaments! Each year we get an ornament that symbolizes what happened that year, so each year, we get to reflect on what God has done as each year has gone by.
What is the best present you have ever gotten, who gave it to you and why did you like it so much?
Let’s see… I’m not really sure, there are so many gifts I have gotten. Maybe my bible, my parents gave it to me a few years ago and I really like it. I love getting to read it and mark important verses ect.
Explain your dream Christmas.
Wake up at like 10am to the smell of a wonderful breakfast cooking downstairs. Be able to have all my family over for Christmas day, and just be together. I would love to have snow to be able to play in with my cousins. Then curl up on the couch with hot coco or tea and watch a good Christmas movie.
Is Christmas your favorite holiday? Why or Why not?
No, it is not. Although it is my second favorite. I like Easter the best. I love both of them because they both rejoice in Jesus! But I like Easter better because it is in the warm weather.
Which is better: Christmas or Easter? Why?
One is not better than the other because they both go together. Like the others have said, you can’t have one without the other, so they are both the same. I think.
What are your hopes for this Christmas?
I want to be able to have a fun, relaxing, and joyful Christmas with my family! And that others can see how our family interacts with each other and be able to have hope because they see Jesus in us.
Thank you guys for reading! Next week I have a post from Natalie Brill!
