When God tells you to do something, don’t fight. I am going to tell you about when my family and I moved from the only place that I could call home.
I had lived in Tupelo Mississippi for 8 years and I was liking it a lot, I had a lot of friends and life was good. Then one day I was doing my school on the couch ( I am home schooled) and my dad was working at his desk , and then he got THE PHONE CALL which changed my life forever.
The phone call was from our old pastor from when we lived in Georgia. (I did not remember much form Georgia) Anyway the pastor said that there was a pastor in North Carolina who was feeling that God was telling him to move back to Florida to be part of his old church. So he needed a new pastor for his church that he was pastoring right now. So my dad said “Okay I’ll tell my family about it and I’ll get back to you.” So that night my dad told us about it and I was excited about it at first, but then O thought about what I would have to do to make this happen and I started to fight God.
Then another day I was reading my Bible and God was like “This is my will if you fight it will just make it worse.” So I just said “God if this is your will let me have peace in this.” And He did! He also sold our house WITHOUT a relater! And He gave us a vary nice house to live in until I get a Semi-permanent home.
So this is my story of God’s mercy and grace in by life. I hope that your choice will be not to fight God.
