Good day! This week I have a post from another friend from camp, Hadley Johnson!
- Tell me a little bit about your self, hobbies, family, background, ect.
Hi! My name is Hadley Johnson and I am 14 years old. I have two younger sisters and a golden retriever. I enjoy reading, writing and hand lettering. I also enjoy painting.
- What is your favorite part about Christmas?/ How does it bring home the meaning of Christmas to you?
My favorite part of Christmas (Besides the fact that it is the day Jesus was born) is giving gifts. I love picking things out for people and watching them open their presents. It gives me so much joy!
- What are some of your family traditions?
One of our Christmas family traditions is every year we drive around our hometown and we look at the Christmas lights and decorations.
- What is the best present you have ever gotten, who gave it to you and why did you like it so much?
The best present I have ever gotten ultimately is the gift of God’s son, Jesus, who came to save us all!
- Explain your dream Christmas.
My dream Christmas would most definitely include snow! Where I live, it never snows.
- Is Christmas your favorite holiday? Why or Why not?
My favorite holiday is Christmas. Why? Because you get to give gifts, look at lights, get together with family and friends and celebrate Jesus’ birth!
- Which is better: Christmas or Easter? Why?
Many people would have different opinions about which holiday is better, Christmas or Easter. My opinion is that Christmas is better because without Christmas we wouldn’t have Easter! Just think about it… if Christ was never born, then he certainly couldn’t die!
- What are your hopes for this Christmas?
This Christmas I hope to become closer to Christ. And I also hope that all of you become closer to Christ too.
Ok, I think I am about half way through the series! Y’all let me know in the comments if you are enjoying this, and if I should do more series like this! Thank you so much for reading, next week we have Amie Wholeslagle!
